The creator share and exchange rates change over time, so enter current values. Local rates here are approximate starting points, not live rates.

What TikTok coins are

Coins are TikTok's in-app currency. Viewers buy coins and spend them on virtual gifts during LIVE videos. The creator does not receive the coins directly: gifts are converted into a creator balance (often called diamonds), which can be withdrawn as money when the creator is eligible. The price of coins and the creator's share are set by TikTok and can differ by country and change over time.

The formula

Gift value = coins × price per coin. Creator earnings = gift value × creator share. To show it in another currency, multiply by the exchange rate (1 USD = how many units of your currency).

Worked example

10,000 coins at $0.0104 each is $104 of gift value. With a 50% creator share, the creator may receive about $52. In a currency where 1 USD equals 57 units, that is about 2,964 units.
