Values reflect commonly published guidelines as of late 2026. Apps often crop or compress differently from device to device, so keep key text and faces away from the edges.
Design tips that apply everywhere
- Keep important content in the center. Vertical videos are overlaid by interface buttons at the bottom and right.
- Export at the stated size instead of letting the app resize, to avoid blurry results.
- Use JPG or PNG for images and MP4 for video. Very large files get compressed hard.
- Check the preview. A square-cropped grid or a round avatar can cut off a wide logo.
